Blue Kangaroo I
Blue Kangaroo is a new concept in childcare for busy working parents in northern Nevada, with an engaging kangaroo character named “Blue” and a high-tech capability for parents to see their children at learning and play via a secure online webcam system. In keeping with the concept, H+K Architects was tapped to design a childcare center with classrooms for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. The design emphasizes natural day-lighting and a central activity room with a vaulted ceiling for indoor activities. |
